1980 – This was a year full of difficulties, poor in good results. The last year of existence for the 75cc was certainly did not favor either the investors or development.
At the Valli (Clusone, 6/7 June) the best result was achieved by Sergio Fumagalli in the 75cc Junior trophy division, where he came 2^nd.
In 1980 a third Frigerio-Rotax model was unveiled. Named the F3, it boasted the latest Acerbis fuel tanks, made from cross-linked polyethylene (PE-XL), which were less porous. A disadvantage was that these tanks could not be spay painted as no solvent exists and therefore no adhesive.

It is for this reason that no adhesive endures through time.
Due to all the difficulties there is no longer an official team and all the riders are now privateers. At the Valleys the only fair placing is that of Marco Valsecchi in 5^th place in the 175cc class and in the Junior division we once again find Fossati achieving a 3^rd place in the 500cc class.
