After ‘the valleys’ the four 150cc prototypes returned to France and three were present also at the Six days of the Isle of Man with Mouvet, Cavaillé and Dion.
This particular event was practically abandoned by the Italians (the only one was Farioli on a  KTM) and the three Frenchmen were threfore charged with holding up the Italian colours.
The first Morini purposely constructed in small run for regularity trials was known as the “Corsaro Regolarità” and re-baptised immediately “griglione,” because of the large grille protection for the front light.
In reality, during the run of the races, this strange grille was immediately removed and thrown away because of the unjustified weight; often the front light was substituted with a smaller version but this was a fashion of the times and without certain accessories the grip on the public did not receive the desired effect.
Does anyone remember the Testi Trail King, a moped without infamy or glory which certainly had no particularly notable advantages over its competitors?
In the 60’s this became a legend among 14 year olds, also perhaps thanks to a light protecting grille which today we would define as a cheese-grater in the form of a whole Parmigiano cheese.
Morini too was susceptible to this trend and the garish ‘big grille’ (‘griglione’) was the logical consequence.

Apart from this dubious stylistic touch the bike was effectively valid and competitive.
Even in the most evolved versions Morinis never used a filter case but always the Dell’Orto F20 filter mounted directly on the carburettor, also because being a four stroke there was no need for the large plenum chamber which is almost obligatory for a two stroke.
At the November 1965 Milan motorcycle and cycle show the “Corsaro Regolarità”, mark 1 was displayed in the slightly improved 1966 version. It was a propitious time commercially also. It was in 1965 that Moto Guzzi announced its retirement from racing and the placing into production of the many time victorious ‘Giubileo’.
Once production of the first examples was begun the production line never stopped and 100 examples in total of this first series were fabricated and another one hundred the next year.
